As with all other project activities this workshop will be free of charge.<\/p>\n<p>To book your place please send an e-mail to <a href=\"mailto:spa.ponds@gmail.com\" target=\"_blank\">spa.ponds@gmail.com<\/a>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Those wishing to take part in the project activities are asked to&nbsp;complete and return the following form:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/foresttown.net\/heritageproject\/FTNCG_SPHP_Participant_Intro_Form.pdf\">Form for participants on the Spa Ponds Heritage Project<\/a>&nbsp;[PDF]<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/foresttown.net\/heritageproject\/FTNCG_SPHP_Participant_Intro_Form.docx\">Form for participants on the Spa Ponds Heritage Project<\/a>&nbsp;[DOCX]<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Workshop will feature a series of brief introductions to various elements of the Project, including Shlomo describing&nbsp;the Heritage Management Plan, Mark talking about&nbsp;&#8216;Time Travelling with Trees&#8217;, and Ann explaining what sharing &#8216;oral histories&#8217; entails.<\/p>\n<p>The remainder of the Workshop will be led by MBArchaeology&#8217;s Matt Beresford who will provide an overview of the training that MBArchaeology will be providing throughout the project.<\/p>\n<p>Matt, an experienced tutor and community archaeologist, is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists. He qualified from the University of Nottingham with an honours degree in Combined Studies (Archaeology &amp; History) and a Masters degree with Distinction in Local &amp; Regional History. &nbsp;He is currently undertaking Doctoral research through the University of Hertfordshire.<\/p>\n<p>The Introductory Workshop will be a real treat for all those who attend, and will help position participants to contribute to the&nbsp;Spa Ponds Heritage Project.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A number of places are left for the Spa Ponds Heritage Project&#8217;s Introductory Workshop, which will take place from 10am on Saturday 14th January 2017.
